As a FedEx pilot, you are now able to view and manage your Pilots Retirement Savings Plan (PRSP) at Fidelity. You also now have access to professional investment management for your PRSP/401(k) account through Fidelity BrokerageLink® (BL).
WHAT IS BROKERAGELINK®?
The PRSP is a critical piece of your retirement plan, and it’s essential for your overall financial security to understand this plan and have it managed correctly. Fidelity BrokerageLink® offers a solution to PRSP participants as a self-directed brokerage trading option that provides access to investment choices above and beyond the offerings provided by FedEx.
Most standard 401(k) plans offer about 25 mutual funds as part of their investment line-up. With BrokerageLink®, you have access to thousands of mutual funds and other investment options like stocks, corporate bonds, mortgage securities, US Treasury securities, and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). Keep in mind, however, that additional trading fees may apply to your BL account. The amount of the fees depends on the securities you are buying or selling and whether you place trades online or through a representative. Most importantly, BrokerageLink® can also be a great solution for pilots who have limited time, interest, or expertise in managing their own 401(k) investments by allowing you to have your funds professionally managed within the BL account.
The PRSP plan allows you to invest up to 100% of your current balance and future 401(k) contributions into your BL account. This means you are able to leverage professional management for your entire 401(k) savings balance.
HOW DO I ACCESS MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION AT FIDELITY?
You can log into your Fidelity NetBenefits® account to see your PRSP details, and your first Fidelity statement will be available at the end of March.
If you have a username and password for other non-FedEx accounts at Fidelity, use the same username and password to log on to your PRSP account at netbenefits.com. If you do not have a Fidelity username and password, click ‘Register as new user’, and follow the step-by-step instructions. In addition to reviewing your account, adjusting contribution amounts, and/or changing your investment elections, you can also confirm or elect your beneficiary information.
